Lex is obsessed by Clark's secret and he knows that Chloe knows it. He got mad and hurt her. Clark knows that Chloe is in hospital because of Lex, he decides to confront him. Chloe dies and Clark feels guilty. Now that she's gone, he finally admits that he has feelings for her...but it's too late. He regrets the way he acted with her.
