Matisse, the emin's pouched rat, walking on his hind legs for yogies (yogurt treat for rodents). This trick took all of 5 minutes to teach him and he's always remembered it immediately. He'd be very hyperactive playing, but as soon as he smelled banana or a yogie, he got serious and focused and did the trick immediately.
The emin's rat is related to the gambian pouched rat. They're slightly smaller and sleeker in appearance. They have a longer snout, a clear line of demarcation from their whiteish belly and brown upper body, and their fur is slick looking. The gambian has a stocky build, is uniform grey colored, has a shorter snout, and a "rougher" looking coat.
