QUEZON CITY, Philippines--Former Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight champion Ricco Rodriguez of Team Shamrock defeated Kelvin Fitial of Team Gracie in the second round during "The Ring of Fire" mixed martial arts team challenge at the Araneta Coliseum. Rodriguez had been methodically kicking Fitial's leg throughout the match, as if chopping down a tree. Fitial was flown in at the last minute to replace Rodriguez's original opponent, John Marsh, after Rodriguez failed to make the weight limit and had to fight someone heavier than Marsh.
