My girlfriend's father is the owner and captain of a 71 foot sailboat named Gloria. Rather than take a plane to get back from Vienna, we took a trip across the Atlantic ocean. It was an amazing experience. Being out in the middle of the sea, you get this whole different perspective about just how big this planet really is. 18 days traveling at an average speed of around 10mph, it's a slow process, a totally different way to travel.
