For those of us that remember it, and were lucky enough to live near the it, Factory records conjure up nothing but great memories, and remind us how music has changed and how the like will never be seen again. Factory looked at the music industry totally differently to anyone else, and even produced record sleeves of such great art, they lost money on every record sold ! This documentary charts the rise and demise of Factory records, with the incredible Joy Division and Ian Curtis, through to the Happy Mondays - with the unrivalled New Order in between. If you are a fan of Madchester music, and like me used to hit the Hacienda every weekend, then this is a must watch for a trip down memory lane. It's also a timely tribute to the late great Tony Wilson.
