Video Games Live is a festival highlighting some of the most popular video game music soundtracks performed by top orchestras and choirs. Super Mario Brothers, Sonic the Hedgehog, Halo, Mass Effect, Bioshock and Metal Gear Solid are just a few of the games featured at every show. The Reboot was at the Video Games Live event in San Francisco, which featured pianist Martin Leung and a rare rendition of the “Metroid” theme. In this episode, host Rio Pesino speaks with co-creator Tommy Tallarico about how Video Games Live was created, what makes it different than your typical symphony and why the event is for all music lovers, not just gamers.
