Nothing like having your father’s body delivered in the mail to your wedding! The Fighting Deputy is a musical western that blends action, singing, romance, and comedy to make for a wild ride in the old west. Fred Scott, former opera singer, provides the crooning; the classic beauty Phoebe Logan provides the love; and comic relief staple Al “Fuzzy” St. John provides the laughs. But for the action, the evil Scar Adams (Charles King) is wreaking havoc. Scott is the deputy, his father the sheriff, and when dad is murdered it becomes time for Scott to become The Fighting Deputy. This film is loaded with good times and is not to be missed.
