Margaret Thatcher's famous 'No No No' speech in the House of Commons upon returning from the European Council in Rome. In it she emphatically rejected the continuing drain of powers from the Commons to Brussels, and the Commission's intent to create a European Executive, Parliament, and Senate. Dismissed at the time, Lady Thatcher's words have proved apt warning nearly 20 years on.
