This was a historic day for equality and justice. On a whim I went to the courthouse and ended up in the crush of media. At 5:01pm, June 16th, 2008 Robin Tyler and Diane Olsen were the first gay couple in Los Angeles to receive a marriage license issued and approved by the state of California.
