The game, according to materials released by Capcom, is the latest installment in the company's Vs. series, which includes the Marvel vs. Capcom and Capcom vs. SNK games. Each player will have a team of two, and players can switch their characters at any time, and even perform two special moves at the same time (which however uses up two special bars). However, large characters, such as Tatsunoko's Gold Lightan and Capcom's PTX-40A will fight on their own without a partner. Gameplay will be a cross between the Marvel vs Capcom series and the upcoming Street Fighter IV. It will be a 2.5D fighting game.
