Friday, October 10, 2008: Los Angeles CA. Multi-platinum multi-Grammy Award® winning singer songwriter Sheryl Crow celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Yoplait® Save Lids to Save Lives® breast cancer awareness and fundraising initiative with a special performance at the The Wiltern in Los Angeles.
As October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, concert goers were asked to present ten specially designated pink Yoplait® lids at the door with their ticket. Yoplait® has pledged to donate $1.00 per pink lid collected at the concert to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, equaling $10 per donation guest.
Crow, a breast cancer survivor, is currently on the road to support her latest album Detours and on October 11 will release a new album entitled Home for Christmas.
