God made a plan, and the only way for that plan to be executed was for Jesus to walk into torture. He could have delivered himself at any point, anytime, yet his faith in God and his vision of heaven brought him through the situation and he endured it all the way to the cross, where he said: It is finished, father into your hands I give my spirit!
