Reiji makes a promise to protect Maiko, but she reminds Reiji that he has yet to ever keep a promise in his lifetime. The two soon face off against Ichiro Sumishiba, a top-ranked player who has sworn to defeat everyone in 10 minutes or less, and Maiko quickly becomes a victim to his onslaught. In order to prove to Maiko that he can keep a promise, Reiji decides to jump off a 10-story building to reach her, an effort that could seriously damage his body in the real world!
