The 149 is Hackney's number one free bus (or ‘bendybus’ as people Oyster Cards like to call it). It goes from Edmonton Green, through the City, to London Bridge – passing some of London’s poorest areas and some of its richest along the way. William Pine and Laura Hemming-Lowe spend a lot of time on this bus. So they decided to make a series of little films introducing us to the diverse range of characters that use it... day and night.
