It is Day 17 and with only a couple of days left of the Uganda Planning trip the Team visit Cherish Uganda, a project in Entebbe caring for orphans living with HIV/AIDS. The team are given some invaluable advice from Steve an architect who has been designing sustainable eco- friendly initiatives including compost toilets, rainwater harvesting, solar powered electricity and water heating and bio-sand filters. Over the past couple of years they have learnt from trail and error and happy to share their experiences and knowledge with Child's i Foundation.
