This entertaining but very cultural two part documentary will show a very festive side of Okinawa, Japan. In this first part of the documentary I will show you the Okinawa that I have come to love very dearly. For the past 4 years I have traveled to China and Japan- if you ever get a chance to travel to Mainland Japan, many Japanese will not hesitate to tell you that Okinawa is different and is almost not Japanese. It's true that Okinawa is just as much China, Korea, Philippine and the United States as it is Japan, but it's still very much Japan. The documentary will show the people of Okinawa striving for peace. After the devastation of WWII, many of the Okinawan natives teach peace in their everyday lives and never want another country to witness the horrors of wars as they have. I hope you enjoy these entertaining visuals of Okinawa through the current hip-hop music of today and classic Japanese music of yesterday.
