Automakers Introduce the Latest Safety and Convenience Technologies
Once only found in luxury automobiles, high-tech safety features such as side air-bags, key fobs and electronic stability control have made their way to the mainstream.
Now, automakers are introducing a new generation of safety and convenience technologies. In fact, with advanced air bags and day time running lights, today's cars have more features than a decade ago. And new packages, like Buick's "360 Degree Field of Vision," are offering the latest in safety technology.
For example, the 2010 Lacrosse is equipped with articulating headlamps, turn signals in the mirrors and side blind zone alerts. Other features include a remote keyless fob with push button start, rear park assist system, and heated and cooled seats.
