There is no such thing as "Separate but Equal". It is Joe Kennedy's position that if the government provides a service, it must be available to all. Otherwise, taxes are being used to favor one citizen over another, and that's unfair and wrong. In this example, Joe notes that women are treated worse under socialized medicine than men are, under the current system. Imagine how bad it will be if the lunatics in DC get their way with the current healthcare(destruction) bill!
