New field re-dedication ceremony for Coach Hal Sherbeck. May 15, 2010 Produced by Full Time Media. Hal Sherbeck Field has always been a practice field for the Hornets. It is where Hal Sherbeck and his coaching staff built and honed the FJC winning tradition. Fullerton College has one of the oldest community college football teams in the nation (first team 1916) and has never had a home field to play their games. Throughout the years, home games were played at Fullerton High, Glover Stadium, Anaheim Stadium, and Cal State Fullerton and never on the Fullerton College campus. With a new field house going up and Sherbeck FieldâÂÂs renovation nearly complete, the dream is to have Fullerton College football play their home games⦠at home in the near future.
