Contrary Warrior is an intimate first-person account of the life and
work of Adam Fortunate Eagle. Best known for organizing the
1969 occupation of Alcatraz Island by American Indians, Fortunate Eagle is also a respected Native American ceremonial pipe maker,
sculptor, author and spiritual leader. A great story-teller and
raconteur, in this 82-minute documentary he recounts his life and
work with a sense wit and humor.
