Uday Salunkhe, Director Welingkar School stated that there is a lot of scope for growth for students in this sector and Krishi Dhan was a way to educate them about career options in Agribusiness and the need for innovation on this sector. Krishi Dhan 2011 was an event organized by the Weschool in collaboration with TERI. The aim of this event was to project agribusiness as one of the viable career options for management students across India. ‘Krishi Dhan 2011’emphasized on the necessity to apply business management strategies to agriculture on which a majority of our country is dependant for sustenance.
