To the audience's surprise, she writes about a person whom she has never met, her dead grandfather who fought Polio for the sake of his young boy, her father. As the story of the grandfather unfolds, the sentiment of the piece grows exponentially, leaving the audience impressed with her intellectuality and impeccable ability to connect with her audience. The ending speaks for itself; it demands the attention of the world to end this war against polio, for once and for all.
