(1930) Tough railroad division superintendent Dan Thorn (Louis Wolheim) spots a drifter (Robert Armstrong) who has hopped a freight train held up by a landslide. Dan offers the man a job and then finds out that the man used to be a railroader himself. Dan then takes the man under his wing.
