Rev. Troy Perry describes debating psychiatrist Charles Socarites & then meeting his son, Richard Socarites (an openly gay man) years later, as an aid at President Clinton's White House. He describes the "miracle" (?) of mass healing of millions of homosexual in ONE DAY by the American Psychiatric Association. Barbara Gittings was a "spiritual" rather than a religious person who thought all gay people should strive for 'Heaven on Earth: Here and Now!" Still, kids are bullied & sometimes killed for simply being gay. Lesbian mothers & gay fathers have their children taken away from them. Rev. Perry married his male lover in Canada and is challenging California's refusal to recognize gay marriage.
