Trailer: The National Bureau of Standards of the United States Department of Commerce has found that nearly one in every six children suffers from lead paint poisoning. Most of the children are poisoned by eating paint chips or putty from old, dilapidated houses where paint chipping and peeling are common. It is estimated that nearly 2.5 million children in the US live in such housing. Nearly three million dollars must be spent everyday to take care of these children. The majority of these are found in houses built before 1940 and that have now turned into ghettos. The Department of Housing and Urban Development is currently performing many non-destructive tests in homes to find areas with lead in the paint. The department also looks to find ways of de-leading the problematic houses. See the full length at: www.qualityinformation.com
