“Ranma ½ Summer Vacation” is one of ten projects that I worked on with a group called “Sherbert Productions” between 1989 to roughly 2000. I say roughly because we were working on an eleventh project that we were not able to complete at the time.
The original version of “Summer” was first done in 1994 without the aid of digital editing software, and was re-mastered in 1997. While I did use audio editing software for it, it was pretty old compared to what is available today. The computer was an Amiga 4000 with a 25 MHz CPU, audio card with 16 megs of ram built in…and…oh yeah, and a 2 Gig AV rated hard disk (this was only for the audio files). The software could handle six tracks somewhat reliably, but I pushed all eight tracks as much as I could, taxing the poor under powered system, well beyond what it was designed to do.
