The Carpathian Euroregion and the city of Kosice have prepared a project at the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the birth of the saint Elisabeth of Hungary -- Thuringia. The aim the project is to strengthen the cross- border cooperation and partnership in the Carpathian Euroregion. The emphasis will be put on the philanthropy, charity and strengthening the relations between Slovakians and Hungarians living in the border areas united in the name of Elizabeth, a famous personality beloved by both Slovakians and Hungarians.
