In an attempt to continue facilitating debate on issues relating to economic freedom in Asia, the Economic Freedom Network Asia (EFN Asia) recently convened an international conference on ‘Private Property Rights: The Economic Foundation of a Free Society' on 18-19 September 2008. The conference was held at the University of Asia and the Pacific, Manila, in collaboration with the Center for Research and Communication (CRC), the Foundation for Economic Freedom (FEF), the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Liberty (FNF), the Philippine Economic Society (PES) and the School of Economics, University of Asia and the Pacific, and in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of EFN Asia.
