Tour For Life, a program of North Shore Animal League America, is the world’s largest cooperative adoption event, with two of the Animal League’s Mobile Adoption Units simultaneously crossing the country, in two routes throughout March and April, 2009. Tour For Life, which aims to reinforce the importance and advantages of shelter adoptions, stops in 24 major cities to assist shelters and rescue groups in adopting orphaned pets.
