The Radiological Threat Awareness Coalition (R-TAC)Summit took place on February 25th, 2009. The summit brought together highly respected professionals and academics from within the field of homeland security and radiological science to increase awareness of the threat of a "dirty bomb" attack on US soil. This speech was presented by Dr. Jeffrey Runge, a former Assistant Secretary of Health Affairs and Chief Medical Officer at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
