The story told by David Smith of www.LastCastFishing.Com
September 18 and 19, 2009, opening weekend of the Wisconsin bear hunting season. After 8 years of applying for a bear tag it was finally my turn! We baited in Tomahawk, Wisconsin next to a thick tag alder swamp for 3 weeks. With-in days we found at least 10 different bear coming in to feed on granola scraps, apples and misc. bakery goods. The days were warm and sunny with high temp of 75 degrees, the nights cooled down to 48 degrees; barometer was steady with a new moon keeping bear movement throughout the day. After viewing weeks of trail camera pictures and finding just average size bear coming in I decided to go ahead and harvest my first Black Bear at 5:00pm the second day of the hunt ......Captured ONLY on www.HawgNSonsTV.Com
