Eccentric location, beautiful bodies and spectacular images âÃÂàstar photographer Steve Thornton was in Cologne to shoot lingerie models in Germany. But Thornton did not pick one of the many idyllic sceneries at the rhine river. Instead he chose EuropeâÃÂÃÂs largest brothel, the Pascha in Cologne. This shooting was the kick-off event for a unique tour Thornton is about to take: For his new book project he will do fashion shootings in brothels all over the world. âÃÂÃÂI want to create emotional pictures which are able to carry away the viewer and take him to a place somewhere elseâÃÂÃÂ, says Thornton. During his shoots he changes the dark rooms of the brothels into perfectly illuminated photo studios. âÃÂÃÂLight is the ultimate criterion. In bad light conditions the best camera is no help.âÃÂàThat is why Thornton has been working with CALIFORNIA SUNBOUNCE Equipment for years.
