A small asteroid made a fairly close flyby of Earth on November 17, 2010 but it was not a threat to hit the planet. Plus, at 3 meters wide, (10 ft) the asteroid, named 2010 WA, would have broken apart if it hit Earthâs atmosphere. It was discovered on 16th Nov,2010. It passed about 1/10 lunar distance, or about 38,000 kilometers (24,000 miles) away from earth.Further by seeing the simulation one can understand it will have closest approach to Venus in first week of December.
