The Indian, the cowboy, the policeman, the construction worker, the biker and the soldier have received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Village People, a hit 1970s group who created the singles YMCA and Macho Man, recieved their star at a star-studded event in Hollywood on Friday.
"If this were the Academy Awards, the orchestra music would be welling up right now," said Hodo, one of the group's original members.
