Former Soviet Union president Mikhail Gorbachev urged the United States to get out of Afghanistan and work with Russia and other countries to create a new world order in a lecture at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library Tuesday night, October 18, 2011. He laughed off the Reagan "Tear down this wall Mr. Gorbachev" moment in history by saying that you had to remember Reagan was an actor. Gorbachev may well have kept the US and Russia from war.
