In our experience it is always best to publish your website immediately after opening. If you have made any alterations this will mean saving, closing and then re-opening your website. • Click file, hover over publish site and select publish to web If you have opened a website sent to you by ukusmarketing, it is likely your FTP details will have been saved within your website, and will therefore auto generate here. If this is not the case you will need to enter your FTP details. 1. Click accounts and select add. Account name can be anything of your choosing 2. Your FTP address is your websites domain name minus the (www.) 3. Enter 21 for port number. Although in many cases port number can be left blank without causing any problems to your FTP software 4. For folder enter public_html Your username and password will have been sent to you by your web hosting company. If your website is not hosted by ukusmarketing then your current web host provider will have sent you an e-mail containing your FTP details. 5. Click okay 6. You can now test your FTP connection and if successful - click update account 7. Select "publish all pages" and click okay 8. You may receive a warning that your site was originally uploaded from a different document and will be overwritten - click okay 9. You will now be given the choice of carrying out a full or incremental update. In this instance we will select to carry out an incremental update, as we only want to upload the files which have changed since we last published our website 10. When the website has finished uploading - click close 11. You may now view your updated website. Please be aware that some changes will not be visible unless you delete your browsing history/cache.
