When the bottom rung of my ladder broke off as I stepped onto it, I decided to investigate it's safety with my own testing. this ladder was purchased from the Lewis ladders website. The test was done on my own personal ladder which I paid for with my own money, so I believe I have the right to inspect it to satisfy my own curiousity regarding it's safety and quality. After my test I am quite concerned of the quality of Lewis ladders and I would not trust the safety of the other two sets of ladders that I purchased from them.
