Yes, Daisy Circuit is a remake of the Mario Kart Wii track of the same name. It was built from scratch by me and is not a remix of another persons attempt. Ivo's Raceway is based loosely off of Royal Raceway from Mario Kart 64. Costa Lita Islands was actually layed out on the steam roller by my niece. When she was done I transformed it into a typical 'Beach' style track as those are her favorites in the Mario Kart series. Solarin Gardens is hard. Very hard if you don't know how to race it, but it grows on you. I can run 44 second laps on it in time trial.
