The howling winds on St. John Bosco Field symbolized the Bruins' Will and Spirit of their mauling Defense and unstoppable Offense. Only penalties and the Bruins' inability to produce conversion points prolonged the Holy Name of Mary Raiders' season into the start of the 4th quarter. The game was called off through a Mercy Rule: Bruins 36 - Raiders 6. Nearly everyone in the Offense scored. Adam started it off, then Brian, Mike, Austin, Dax, and Bryant ended it, all in spectacular fashion! The run Defense started the game with 3 sacs and continued stopping the run throughout the game (Mike, Adam, Brian, Andre, Ian, Kevin, etc.). The pass defense (Dax, Daniel, Austin, etc.) knocked down passes and made crucial saves that actually prevented any Raiders' player from crossing the end zone. A questionable break-away/last defender penalty rule rewarded the Raiders 6 points. It is certain that the road to the CYO Super Bowl goes through the NCS Bruins! You Can Do It Bruins! ...Believe It!

The NCS Bruins' quest for an undefeated season left no doubts as they scored their highest point total of this season by stomping the St. James Crusaders 46 - 18. The Bruins offense was in its finest form as they scored in every way. The combos of Lightning & Thunder (Adam & Austin) and Air Force One (Adam & Dax) scored in short, long, and trick plays via runs, air strikes, and a lightning fast kick-off return TD! Bryant produced key 1st downs, carries, and blocks. The Defense (Daniel, Brian, Mike, Andre, Robert, Austin, Dax, Adam, Evan, Kevin, Ian, etc.) was stellar delivering key sacs and saving a few sure touchdowns and conversion points. The undefeated Southbay Division Champions NCS Bruins are well on their way towards a Perfect Season. Only 5 play-off games to go to win The 2008 CYO "Super Bowl"... Go Bruins, You Can Do It! NCS Bruins RULE!

All doubts erased for the quest of the perfect season. The Bruins pounded the Dolphins with "manster"-sized defensive plays and unstoppable offensive assaults. A Sack Party included 7 sacks from Ron, Ryan, Amit, Kevin and the rest of the Sacking Crew! The Air Force One combo of Adam & Dax shocked & awed with 2 bombs for TDs. Andre produced spectacular long TDs with his arm and legs! The ball hawks, Daniel & Austin, picked off passes and ran them back for TDs. Dax's key interception and toughness energized the team. Brian sacked the Chargers' last chance as time ran out. School spirit was evident as another great, supportive crowd for the Bruins inspired this Rocky-esque victory... Go Bruins, You Can Do It!
