From NATURE'S FROM ORPHAN TO KING airing November 25th at 8pm EST on PBS (check local listings.) Kidnapped as a baby by hunters who killed his mother, Kusasi, a orangutan, is rescued by police, only to face a different kind of confinement.
But he escapes that too, and somehow miraculously survives in the jungle at an age when a solitary infant would almost certainly face a cruel death. In time, Kusasi rises to become the ruler of his domain. Actor Tim Matheson narrates. For more information, visit http://www.pbs.org/nature
