Maserati has taken the GranCabrio convertible to a new level of performance with the new GranCabrio Sport. With more power, a faster gearshift and a distinctively aggressive look, the GranCabrio Sport has given Maserati a harder-edged convertible to sit alongside the GranTurismo S and the Quattroporte Sport GT S as the performance flagships of their respective ranges.

Der 43-Jährige ist für den Erfolg des Maserati MC12 in der Sportwagen-Weltmeisterschaft verantwortlich. Als Fahrer und Teamchef hat Bartels seine Klasse bewiesen und die Erfolgsgeschichte des italienischen Supersportwagens entscheidend mitgeschrieben. Ironie am Rande: Ob Bartels seinen Weltmeister-Titel verteidigen kann, steht noch nicht fest. Bislang hat die FIA die Nennung für 2011 noch nicht angenommen. Weil lediglich zwei, statt der vom Reglement vorgeschriebenen vier, Maserati ihre Nennung abgegeben haben, stellen sich die Regelhüter stur.

Der italienische Sportwagenbauer hat standesgemäß zum Maserati Snow Test Drive in die Dolomiten eingeladen um 120 Gästen im Wintersportort Cortina d'Ampezzo die hohe Schule des Querfahrens beizubringen. Erfahrene Instruktoren verraten jene kleinen Tricks, damit der 440 PS Bolide genau da hin rutscht, wohin er soll.
