WHAT IS TRUE INDEPENDENT FILM? Imagine an amateur film crew shooting 132 shots in only four days and all for a budget equal to what a Hollywood film would spend on its supply of bottled water. Sound amazing? Now, what if I told you that our film went on to earn itself 12 awards from around the U.S. as well as an amateur award in Great Britain? That is exactly what the short film, “Life’s Little Gaps” did. With only a budget of twelve hundred dollars, the cast and crew were able bring to life characters we each fell in love with as well a story that has forever made its place in our hearts.
