My wife's migraine got too bad for her to keep reading to him, so he very politely went to the other room and found things with which to amuse himself- a peg game and Blockus. He made"fences" from the pegs, designs with the Blockus tiles, asked very cogent questions about the world around him... while I sat nearby supervising, interacting as he needed me to, and working on a rug. A remarkably bright, creative, & considerate fellow... but since we know and are dear friends with his mother, this comes as absolutely NO surprise to us.

After thousands of supporters urged their Senators to support this effort, the US Senate voted unamimously today to award Aung San Suu Kyi the nation's highest civilian honor, the Congressional Gold Medal. [The US House of Reps. has already voted 400-0]. Aung San Suu Kyi will be awarded the Congressional Gold Medal. This is a historic vote because Aung San Suu Kyi is the first person in the 232-year history of the award to be granted the honor while imprisoned. And hopefully, with the vast international attention from this award, increased pressure will expedite her release. By being awarded this honor, Aung San Suu Kyi joins the ranks of many great people in history including George Washington, Martin Luther King Jr., Elie Wiesel, and Mother Theresa.

Tennis enthusiast gathered from all over Bandra and as far as from Singapore and from all fields early Sunday morning on 10 Feb 2008 to play. Tournament was divided into two groups of round robin and Top two from each group qualified for semifinals This year cup was won by Maria and rafiq in entertaining final.
