She has since been labeled "The Most Beautiful Suicide" The song and the city remains the core of the American dream; ".........If I can make it THERE.... I`ll make it EVERYWHERE...." One of Britain’s most promising London 2012 Olympic hopefuls has been transformed into a giant action figure to become a real-life Power Ranger toy. Aaron Cook, 20, the current British Taekwondo Champion and one of the UK’S strongest contenders for a gold medal at London 2012 Olympics, is the only person outside of the TV show to wear the iconic red suit and the first ever honourary member of the Power Rangers. To mark the occasion Cook will be exhibited in a giant 3 metre by 1.5 metre replica toy box at Westfield shopping centre (Friday 1st July) in front of hundreds of Olympic fans. Cook comments: “I was mad about Power Rangers as a kid so my parents took me to a local Taekwondo club in Dorchester where I fell in love with the sport. The rest, as they say, is history. I’m hoping that by joining the Power Rangers I’ll help to inspire British children to follow in my footsteps, which will hopefully include a medal at the London 2012 Olympics.” The Power Rangers TV show started in 1993 following the adventures of five teenagers with attitude known as the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as they battled to save the planet from evil space aliens. The show is broadcast in more than 60 countries and translated into numerous languages. Toy maker Bandai is hoping that the immortalisation of Cook will kick-start strong sales of Power Rangers Samurai, the latest incarnation of the hugely successful franchise. Since its launch in 1994 Power Rangers has become the number one kid’s action toy selling over 24 million action figures world-wide. Darrell Jones from Bandai comments: “Aaron is a fantastic addition to the Power Rangers team and an obvious choice to uphold the new Samurai values. We look forward to working with Aaron and hope his Power Rangers training holds him in good stead for the London 2012 Olympics.”

Given the nature of some of the stuff I've been studying and dealing with lately, it occurred to me that I really needed to say something about that being which some Christians refer to as "The Devil". I personally do not believe that such a being exists. I have many reasons to believe that way, and in this show I'll outline to you the reasons why I do not believe that a being which is totally and absolutely evil can exist. Of course, that does not mean that I don't believe in evil. It also does not mean that I do not know that there are indeed evil spirits and other evil entities, just as there are evil people. Good cannot exist without evil, and evil would not exist without good. This is an issue which every one of us has to deal with in our everyday lives. And now that you know that the fact that you see it does not make you wrong or crazy, what can you do about it? What should you do about it? Blessed Be!

This is a Kurama fan video that I've been literally working on for six months--mainly due to the fact that Windows Movie Maker 2.6 is apparently not compatible with Windows 7 and tends to freeze and lag every edit or during playback. Finally I bit the bullet and broke new ground in using Windows Live Movie Maker, and was thus able to finish in days what had taken me months before. Hopefully I'll get some more AMVs made now.

Well, this is the final product of my hard labor for the past few days. I decided to stop because it was frustrating me to no end with various things, I wanted it to be much, much better but that's not going to happen at this time. I think that for every second used for a song in video editing equals 10 minutes and each special effect equals 5 mins so I spent an estimated 35 hours on this video for the past 3-5 days. As for the credits. I got stuff from various sources mostly on You Tube so I will need to hunt them down and I will post them here as well as in the video. Some of us hold plectrums in different ways, but if you are watching this then I have hopefully caught you before you develop and bad habits in your guitar playing. In this guitar lesson I'll show you a very quick method of holding a plectrum in the correct way. The great benefit with this is that you will never out grow this method of holding a pick. The interviewer, Ruby Cheeks, was trying to help me pack as much information as possible into the limited time frame. This lead to her interjecting at times when I wasn’t expecting. It was often times to summarize & clarify what I had just said. Several times it lead to changing direction and focusing on a foundational principle when my brain was course to build onto the principle. I’ll have to work at getting use to this type of a dialog format for future interview. Even though my delivery for this dialog format may need improvement, my content was right on. Not only was I prepared to give relevant information that the audience needed to hear, but I was able to give solid responses to all of Ruby’s questions & comments.

Images taken between 2pm to around 1am the following morning. Daytime clouds through to the stars at night. This is my first attempt at time lapse photography and I wanted to try and capture some clouds in the daytime and some stars at night. I've used different speeds of playback throughout to give some variation. See if you can spot the super-fast flash of red light that streaked across the screen towards the end of this short film - don't blink because you'll miss it. I bagged just over 5200 images over about 10 hours or so on a Canon 60D using the stock 18 - 55mm lens and I'm really pleased with the results. I think I could open the shutter a little longer to try and capture more light in order to let more stars in, but I'll save that for my next attempt. Everything was switched to manual on the Canon 60D DSLR and I adjusted the ISO and shutter speed throughout the day. Please let me know if you have some time lapse tips you can share to help improve my next one - thanks.
