Good Night ValentinoThe true story of a final dinner of silent film idol Rudolph Valentino.
In 1926, the world's eyes were on silent film idol Rudolph Valentino. The press had not so subtlely accused him of being a homosexual. Valentino responded with furious outbursts, only adding feul to the fire. Finally, he calls on famed journalist H.L. Mencken for advice. Mencken is struck by the genuine pathos in Valentino, and suggests the movie star simply ignore the chatter. But there was little time for that. One week later, Valentino was dead at the age of 31.
"Good Night Valentino" is the story of the meeting between Valentino and Mencken, as told in the words of H.L. Mencken himself.
