Ostersonntag in Mullewapp. Die Freude ist groß, denn der Osterhase hat jedem Hühnchen ein Ei gebracht. Oje, hat er etwa Henne Jenny vergessen? Die drei Freunde beteiligen sich an der Eiersuche, doch sie finden kein Ei, sondern nur eine kaputte Eierschale. Das kann doch nur der Fuchs gewesen sein. Johnny, Franz und Waldemar sind empört. Mit einem Trick wollen sie den Ostereierdieb entlarven. Wird der Fuchs auf Waldemars Hasenkostüm herein fallen?

Wer nachts spazieren geht, muss aufpassen. Keiner weiß das besser als der Igel. Trotzdem wird er eines Nachts überfahren und verliert viele wertvolle Stacheln. Der feige Täter begeht Fahrerflucht. Franz, Johnny und Waldemar übernehmen den Fall: War es Bauer Husemann auf seinem Motorrad? Doch als am Fahrrad der drei Freunde ein platter Reifen entdeckt wird, werden sie plötzlich selbst zu Verdächtigen. Können die drei ihre Unschuld beweisen und den Fall lösen?

Franz von Hahn hat sich verliebt. Nicht etwa in ein Huhn, sondern in eine Froschfrau. Als seine Hennen das rauskriegen, setzen sie ihn vor die Stalltür. Franz ist das egal. Er ist völlig verblendet und hat nur noch seine Prinzessin im Kopf. Schnell kommen Johnny Mauser und der dicke Waldemar dahinter, dass die Froschfrau ein falsches Spiel mit Franz spielt: Ihr geht es nur um seine Süßigkeiten. Durch einen Trick öffnen die Freunde Franz die Augen.

Franz von Hahn ist empört. Bevor er dazu kommt, die Mullewapper Hühner zu wecken, sitzt schon ein anderer komischer Vogel auf seinem Heuhaufen und klappert lautstark. Es ist Lubumba, ein schwarzer Storch, der die Herzen der Hennen im Sturm erobert. Franz ist eifersüchtig auf den Angeber und möchte ihn so schnell wie möglich wieder loswerden. Doch er tut Lubumba unrecht. Als der Fuchs Franz entführt, nehmen Johnny und der dicke Waldemar mit Lubumbas Hilfe die Verfolgung auf.

Vollmond über Mullewapp. Franz von Hahn, Johnny Mauser und der dicke Waldemar können nicht einschlafen. Sie sitzen im Stroh und schauen in den Sternenhimmel. Gibt es ihn wirklich, den Mann im Mond? Und leben im All tatsächlich Außerirdische? Über diese Fragen fallen den drei Freunden doch noch die Augen zu. Am nächsten Morgen ist Waldemar übersät von roten Punkten. Kurz danach beginnen auch Franz und Johnny sich zu kratzen. Ist das etwa außerirdisches Juckpulver? Die drei Freunde gehen dem Fall nach.

Selbst beste Freunde haben mal Streit, Franz von Hahn und der dicke Waldemar allerdings ziemlich oft. Johnny Mauser wird das irgendwann zu viel. Er verschwindet. Waldemar vermutet, dass Kater Leo Johnny gefressen hat, aber beweisen kann er das nicht. Als ihr Freund nach drei Tagen noch immer nicht aufgetaucht ist, beerdigen Franz und Waldemar das gemeinsame Fahrrad. Ohne Johnny am Lenker ist es schließlich nutzlos geworden. Da erleben die trauernden Freunde eine Überraschung.

Mitternacht in Mullewapp. Plötzlich sind alle hellwach. Henne Marilyn liegt bewusstlos am Boden. Wurde sie überfallen? Ein Fall für die drei Freunde! Johnny Mauser nimmt die Lupe zur Hand und entdeckt ein Schnurrbarthaar. Ganz klar, der Fuchs muss der Täter sein. Er wird sofort verhaftet. Doch kaum ist er hinter Gittern, liegt plötzlich Franz von Hahn bewusstlos am Boden. Es scheint, als hätten sich die Meisterdetektive diesmal geirrt …

Franz von Hahn, Johnny Mauser und der dicke Waldemar dösen faul im Heu. Plötzlich bricht Panik aus im Stall: Es brennt. Wer hat bloß das Feuer gelegt? Ein Fall für die drei ungleichen Freunde. Hat vielleicht der alte Knattertrecker von Bauer Husemann Funken gesprüht? Oder ist ein Feuersalamander der Feuerteufel? Detektiv Johnny Mauser nimmt den Tatort noch einmal genau unter die Lupe. Dabei wird ihm ziemlich heiß, und auf einmal weiß er die Lösung …

Another track from this band uses famous cowboy names of TV, radio stage and film such as USA film stars John Wayne, Clint Eastwood and Audy Murphy. Frontiersman Daniel Boone also gets a mention! Songwriter John Ozoroff says ‘We would never make an appearance on The X-Factor in front of Simon Cowell or Britain’s Got Talent; it’s just not us’ so we do our own thing’. Bass guitar player Gordon Broadley hails from Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa where he appeared on many TV shows there and agrees with John. ‘Definitely a no go!’ says Gordon.
