Hedgewars 0.9.18 (experimental, unreleased build) match on the Hedgewars server: Team Agon (me) vs. SHIT (Speed) This is quite possibly one of the worst matches I have ever played. A fuckton of misplays and squandered chances on both sides, a Watermelon Bomb that never saw the light of day, and just the thing taking too goddamn long. Oh well. At least Speed's hedgehog names were funny. I have not yet watched this video, admittedly, and I probably never will. I have no intention of sitting through seventeen and a half minutes of this shit. The sound and video probably get desynced halfway through the vid, and some of the frames may get discolored and/or pixelated like fuck all. Forgive me, but I have no intention of re-rendering it properly in any case. I refuse to sit through this match again, and after this, I'm sure you will, too.

"Independence Hall" was a 1960s Houston-based rock band. The band had enjoyed tremendous popularity in the Texas Gulf Coast area as "The Rogues." As The Rogues. the group was the first in the Houston area to play "British Invasion" inspired music. They were so associated with the genre that they were billed as "The American Band with the British Sound." As "Independence Hall," the group's repetoire began evolving into a harder, blues-inspired playlist. "Mary Sunshine" reflects a hybrid moment as the band melded the blues sound of a Hammond B-3 with high harmonies. The Rogues/ Independence Hall apperaed with some of major rock and blues acts of the 1960s including Lightnin' Hopkins, The Righteous Brothers, B.J. Thomas, Roy Head and others. The band's last gig was sharing house band duties at Houston's infamous after-hours club, The Cellar. The group released three singles between 1965 and 1967. A fourth record was never released.

The band has a powerful guitar duo, a very strong drummer, and a great bassist holding it all in place with a strong, energetic sound. Nice hard breaks with pounding guitars keep the vibe moving from beginning to end. As the video unfolds, it shows the inner minds of people when they are treated badly. The words of the song tell the story, but the video shows it nicely! With a little soft porn and some violence, the video is both creative and captivating. BYU’s sports message of the year, "Rise Up" has been all over the campus, at the bookstore, on t-shirts and will be shouted from the stadium at all home football games this fall. But what isn’t yet known is how four local musicians now scattered across the country have united as BYU football fans to contribute the new rock and roll song to celebrate this year's "Rise Up" theme. This song, aptly titled "Rise Up" wasn’t recorded in an impressive recording studio, but through file-sharing on the internet. The musicians have never been in the same room together and have never laid eyes on one another while writing and recording the song. Prior to last year, it had been 25 years since they worked together. The musicians first reunited in 2010 at the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp and performed live in San Francisco with one of their teenage influences, Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad. In San Francisco, Farner and the musicians wrote and performed 2 original songs and also covered Grand Funk's top 40 charting hits from the early 70s "Rock and Roll Soul" to a packed audience. The musicians promised to stay connected this time and write the original music highlighting favorite memories from their lives. Discussing the reaction received on their song version of "Rise Up," Kevin Wright, bass guitarist from Texas, said he was proud of the song and happy it has been received well. “We wanted to do something for the team and the University. I hope it is used in whatever way fires-up the fan base and adds even more excitement to the games," he added. I tried to make this mission pack a completely different experience to Quake Vanilla and Mission Pack 1, with different models and textures for as many elements as is humanly possible. I've even changed the sound setup to a slightly different set (seven's). Personally I think Dissolution's a great mission pack, much more inventive than the first.
