A Volkswagon ad from Europe for the new Golf GTI featuring Gene Kelly popping and locking in a recreation of his famous Singing in the Rain segment. The Gene Kelly Foundation officially licensed Gene's likeness to Volkswagon for the ad. Gene Kelly's face was digitally superimposed over three seperate breakdancers that performed different parts of the new footage through a replica of the original Singing in the Rain set. The ad also features a remix from Mint Royale of the original Singing in the Rain tune.
