This was a video created in early 2000 for the "dotcom" viral marketing phenom, AllAdvantage.com. The founders of the company explain the concept of an "infomediary" and how it works to benefit members by gathering and protecting their private data while leveraging it to gain benefits from marketers and advertisers. The video was created for use during the initial public offering (IPO) "roadshow" where executives travel around the world presenting the concept of the company to potential investors in the weeks prior to the debut of the stock. Unfortunately AllAdvantage was scheduled to have its IPO right as the market began to tank in 2000, and the IPO never PO'd. ;)
