Fawn is our friend whose real name is actually Matt. In his freshman year of college he was given the nickname fawn by his teammates on the swim team. During the nicknaming process, he likened himself to a gazelle and since everyone thought he seemed more like a baby deer than a big, imposing, horned African cattle they called him Fawn. The name stuck because it was catchy, and because certainly people, myself included, made up stories about his deer past.
